I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist holding a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I’m a Certified Hypnotist (CH) as of 2010, and I am currently in the process of becoming a Certified Sex Therapist. I was educated in a community which recognizes the delicate interplay of thought, feeling and action, as well as the deeper influences of soul and spirit. I bring those values into my practice.

In therapy, you’ll be talking a lot about yourself and how you got to the place you’re at. It can be strange and difficult to talk about yourself at first, so I’ll start. I grew up in a family coping with mental illness, marital discord, substance abuse, and high levels of conflict. It seemed like a natural progression to pursue a career in mental health. I’m no stranger to the challenge of simple survival and as I’ve grown personally and in my practice, I’ve thought a lot about how to make meaning out of life’s chaos.

There’s nothing more fascinating than our personal stories. What’s even more interesting is how those stories change when we interact with others, fall in and out of love, build families, endure painful transitions, and pursue our aspirations. When my clients share with me their pain and grief, I consider it a true gift. It’s an equal honor for me to see progress and personal growth over the course of our time together.

Come in and let’s talk. I look forward to working with you!
